A woman of elegant poise, Evilie was raised in a station and city overly concerned with appearances and presentations. For the majority of her younger turns she lived within the confines of expectations for a lady of Ishgard, playing the role her noble blood had set out for her. Filtered among the decorum and etiquette others might describe her as intelligent, warm, and possessing an innate, insatiable curiosity and willingness to learn.Evilie's physical appearance can be described as elegant and precise. She takes great care in her presentation, mannerisms practiced and recited from turns of attending formal functions and entertaining house guests of her father's. Though a smile comes easily to her, there's a latent pensiveness hidden just below the surface; weight not oft expected of someone her younger age. One might see the woman was made to grow up too quickly, a childhood spent preparing for adulthood, and then living it before her time.On the upper end of height for Elezen women, Evilie never slouches, always standing tall and with an air of confidence and pride. Makeup and jewelry is typically applied with thought and deliberateness to her choices. Typically this means accents to her eyes and darker lipsticks in red shades paired with garnets and rubies. Deep reds seem to be a staple in her wardrobe.

The Reluctant Vicomtesse

After the passing of her father, the former Vicomte Gramond Voutellievre, Evilie suddenly found herself thrust into a position of power and responsibility; a role she never wanted nor asked for. Duties to house and family weigh heavily, but over the past four turns she has learned to navigate the often ruthless fields of trade, politics and business. Though there is always more to learn, she has become a capable and adept leader of her house even if it is an ever-present reality for the Vicomtesse that she must work twice as hard to be respected by her peers given her life's course. Perhaps you've heard of her father's passing a few turns prior, the house's happenings, or might have business with the Vicomtesse.

A Grand Opera

Evilie is a talented mezzo-soprano opera and theatre singer of some renown. In the past she performed exclusively at the Palais de Ishgard, though she also makes appearances at Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre in Gridania once or twice a turn for special holiday productions and visits theaters across Eorzea and abroad for premieres. Some of the more famed productions she's been involved in include The Frost Queen, Knight of Halone, L'étoile Polaire, and Sylvain Luscoux's The Lonely Maiden. Perhaps you've heard her sing in Ishgard or abroad, or maybe you're a fan of her work and want to say hello.

Where Change is Wrought

Political power and influence in Ishgard has shifted. Where once the noble class was allowed freedom to govern, the establishment of the House of Commons and House of Lords has diminished any one group's absolute authority, leaving both nobility and the clergy in a scramble for sociopolitical control. Coin still speaks loudly in matters of influence, but navigating this new arena will take a deft hand and cunning strategy to bring positive change and prosperity to House Voutellievre and to a city rooted in traditionalism. Perhaps you have a stake in Ishgard's future, want to influence the Ishgardian political realm, or seek an ally in uncertain times.

Of Lands Foreign

Ishgard's worldview has widened since the dawn of their revitalized, if nascent, government. New trade opportunities have presented themselves, and dignitaries from far off lands now visit Coerthas in the hopes of opening new lines of communication. Given her more progressive views and relative youth, the Vicomtesse has been awarded the role of foreign dignitary, and between the management of her house and affairs, she travels to distant shores to speak with other nation's representatives. Perhaps you're a diplomat, noble, or wealthy trader, or willing to impart local knowledge to the traveling Vicomtesse.

To Mutual Ends

House Voutellievre is in the process of bolstering its standing in Ishgard through trade, land holdings, and politics. To aid in financial endeavors, the Vicomtesse seeks to engage in a number of profitable ventures and forge new business partnerships across Eorzea and abroad. The main source of the House's income stems from the titanium mine on their vassal lands, but the Vicomtesse has recently begun purchasing land in Ishgard for development as well, including founding the Voutellievre Arts Center in the Pillars. The House also reinstated its knight academy two turns ago which trains forces in modernized military techniques and is available for those with coin to undertake instruction by the master-at-arms. Perhaps you have connections with those who might need titanium or goods produced from the mine, or have another interesting business proposal to bring to the House involving the arts or other matters.

Hello! Bi woman writer over 30 behind the OC. I've been writing Evile for a number of years and I appreciate good writing and storytelling that involves nuance and thought-provoking content so long as we're both having fun. Evilie is not a combat character and therefore I find most of her interactions revolve around more psychological themes and how they impact her and the OCs she connects with.I'm a firm believer in IC consequence. That means that I won't write Evilie differently to make a scene or RP work with someone. If the scene goes in a direction she'd walk away from or respond negatively to, I have no problems doing so and expect people I RP with to consider consequences of actions to give weight to the scenes we write. That said, I'm here to have fun, and value that above anything else when it comes to roleplaying so an enjoyable story will take precedence over fancy writing.I'm on the west coast of the U.S. (PST) and currently only do in-game RP (I may open up more discord RP in the future) but feel free to ask for my discord to set up scenes. I ask that my RP partners be 21+ for the sake of mature themes, and I won't interact with OCs who are under 21. Please don't mix IC/OOC because I love my girlfriend very much and I'll break your knees if you flirt with me. Thank you!
